Sr. Manager, Fun Crew Recruiting

RWS Entertainment Group is currently seeking a full-time Sr. Manager, Fun Crew Recruiting.

Reporting to the VP, Talent Casting & Recruitment, the Sr. Manager, Fun Crew Recruiting is responsible for recruiting and scheduling of Fun Crew team members (rides & operations, games, retail, food & beverage, guest services, and more) across RWS projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Strategically source and hire guest experiences talent based on the best fit for projects needs across multiple dimensions of intersectional diversity.
  • Design and maintain recruitment schedule based on hiring for various types of projects, seeking local talent.
  • Conduct interviews (online and in cities around the world) to find the best new talent for Fun Crew positions.
  • Liaise with agencies and schools to develop a pipeline of qualified talent in partnership with the RWS Ignites program.
  • Liaise with locations and set up venues and equipment prior to recruitment events in cities where hiring is appropriate
  • Partner with Experience Operations and Creative Services to maintain overall quality and integrity of staff.
  • Oversee additional Recruitment staff.
  • Continually analyze processes and systems and develop strategies for improving future results.
  • Budget oversight on a per-project basis.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Support the cultivation of teams that embrace and curate innovation.
  • Support development and implementation of inclusive and equitable policies and procedures in coordination with HR and external consulting firms.

  • BA or BFA in Theatre, Casting, Hospitality, or related experience
  • 4+ years working with hospitality professionals and performers; preferably in a recruitment or hiring capacity.
  • Strategic thinking to find solutions to complex problems, with the ability to balance short and long-term objectives.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, Dropbox, and Excel
  • Ability to work proactively, both individually and as a team.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of required skills needed to be a successful guest relations professional for leisure and attractions entertainment.
  • Creativity and innovation in sourcing talent from previously untapped channels.
  • Current contacts and relationships with industry professionals, agencies, and schools is a plus!

A valid passport for the duration of employment for all travel-related roles. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (or proof of exemption) will be required.

Reports to: VP, Talent Casting & Recruitment 

Status: Mobile or Remote

  • Mobile (in NY/NJ/CT Metro Area): Team members who are pre-approved to regularly perform their job responsibilities remotely up to two (2) days per week, with three (3) days per week operating out of the RWS New York City headquarters.
  • Remote (outside of NY/NJ/CT Metro Area): Team members who are pre-approved to work remotely on a regular basis.

Salary: $70,000 annual exempt salary

*Salary based on living in the Metro Area
