JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the EVP, Talent and Creative Casting, the Vice President, Talent Casting & Recruitment leads the strategy, operations and continued evolution of RWS Global’s global talent casting and recruitment function. 

The VP is responsible for ensuring RWS maintains the talent pipelines, industry relationships, leadership capability and operational infrastructure required to support current and future business needs across a multi-disciplinary talent portfolio. This role requires a leader who combines deep entertainment industry expertise with strong business acumen, operational discipline and executive-level leadership.

Role & Responsibilities 
  • Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning: Develop and lead a comprehensive global talent strategy aligned with current and future business needs. Forecast talent demand, assess pipeline health and proactively identify emerging markets, talent shortages and sourcing opportunities across live auditions, digital recruitment, showcases and strategic partnerships. 
  • Leadership & Organizational Development: Lead, develop and hold accountable TCR Directors and senior leaders, establishing a high-performance culture centered on professionalism, ownership and results. Build leadership capability and succession plans while ensuring consistent standards across the broader TCR organization. 
  • Operational Excellence & Risk Management: Own the execution and delivery of casting and recruitment operations across TCR, ensuring quality, efficiency and fulfillment. Maintain visibility into talent shortages, availability, compensation, contracts, onboarding, client expectations and other risks, ensuring issues are identified early and supported by clear solutions. 
  • Business & Financial Leadership: Manage casting and recruitment budgets, resource allocation and workforce investments. Evaluate ROI across audition tours, sourcing initiatives and recruitment channels while maintaining visibility into talent compensation, market rates and financial impacts. 
  • Executive Reporting & Analytics: Establish and monitor meaningful KPIs across pipeline health, fulfillment, sourcing effectiveness and recruitment performance. Translate data into polished, executive-ready reporting that clearly identifies trends, risks, opportunities and recommended actions. 
  • Industry Presence & Talent Ecosystem: Build and maintain a dynamic global network of agents, managers, performers, musicians, technicians, producers, creative leaders, training institutions, union representatives and other industry partners. Represent RWS Global at key auditions, showcases and industry events while strengthening the company’s reputation and access to world-class talent.
  • Client & Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a trusted partner to clients, Creative, Production, Operations, HR, Finance and other business leaders. Balance creative expectations, talent availability, operational realities and business objectives while driving cross-functional solutions and initiatives. 
  • Quality, Innovation & Recruitment Marketing: Champion high standards across talent evaluation, recruitment processes and the candidate experience. Partner with Marketing and PR to strengthen RWS Global’s talent brand, expand recruitment reach and identify new technologies, partnerships and approaches that improve how TCR attracts and engages talent. 

Qualifications 
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent casting or entertainment recruitment, including significant senior leadership experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale talent operations and senior teams across live entertainment, cruise, theme parks, touring, resorts, sports or related sectors. 
  • Deep knowledge of the entertainment talent ecosystem with expertise across multiple talent disciplines. 
  • Proven ability to develop workforce strategies, lead complex operations and translate strategy into measurable results. 
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, talent compensation and ROI analysis. 
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and executive-level reporting and presentation development. 
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence clients, industry partners and senior leadership. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with objectivity, professionalism and sound business judgment, particularly in highpressure, people-driven and creative environments. 
  • Strategic, proactive and solutions-oriented with strong accountability, follow-through and a continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally in support of auditions, recruitment initiatives, client needs and industry events.
