Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design layouts and processes to deliver a wide range of visual assets/materials and produce documents from design concept to final format.

  • Provide regular status updates, consulting on matters that require decisions related to publishing requirements, target audiences, and time parameters to contribute to and work collectively with partners, members and stakeholders.

  • Provide advice on the development of presentation-ready material and customizing of graphics and other publication and promotional needs.

  • Be current by generating engaging, memorable visual and copy concepts by researching design trends and best practices, new technologies and applications.

  • Design creative presentations for client-facing proposals and internal presentations using company branding guidelines.

  • Design highly customizable and configurable templates using InDesign, Keynote, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.

  • Manipulate graphic and video content for slides for a wide variety of audiences.

  • Provide quality assurance of all deliverables.

  • Manage projects effectively within a given budget.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, coworkers, and clients.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or comparable work experience 1-2+ years professional design experience, agency work a plus

  • Strong experience in designing pitch decks for creative proposals with a keen eye for visual storytelling, ensuring clarity and engagement

  • Strong presentation design portfolio demonstrating expertise with structuring content through effective design, typography, and brand consistency

  • Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in both digital and print media as well as creative design.

  • Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution

  • Understanding of the strengths and limitations of presentation technology including aspect ratios, projectors, sound, and video equipment

  • Understanding of image formats, resolution, and size

  • Video editing and animation experience a plus, but not required

  • Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members

  • Ability to offer analysis and decisiveness when making decisions

  • Ability to discover creative solutions to keep projects on target and within budget parameters

  • Demonstrate strategic, critical thinking and problem-solving skills which exemplify the ability to identify issues or

    challenges and find a reasonable solution

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, calmly and effectively execute under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, and

    work in a deadline-oriented environment

  • Strong organization skills, exceptional attention to detail and excellent analytical, verbal and written

    communications skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, iWork applications, Keynote and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently

  • Strong understanding of sales goals and pitch deck development

  • Ability to adapt to different audiences and settings

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in collaboration and project management tools
